Back in the 1990s, my great-grandma would collect scrap fabric, thrift-store towels, old clothes and oddball prints, then turn them into one-of-one homemade aprons for family and close friends.
Our story
This started as a real family joke.
Grandma's Secret Aprons is based on a real family prank tradition. The founder's great-grandmother handmade surprise aprons for family and close friends from scrap cloth, thrift-store towels, old clothing and whatever odd prints she could find. They looked like sweet old-fashioned kitchen aprons right up until the towel lifted and the room realized Grandma had been in on the joke the whole time.
