Yes, this actually came from Grandma.
This started as a real family joke. Back in the 1990s, my great-grandma would collect scrap fabric, thrift-store towels, old clothes and whatever odd prints she could find, then turn them into handmade gag aprons for family and close friends. From the outside, they looked sweet and old-fashioned, right up until the towel lifted and the room lost it. We brought the tradition back because the best gag gifts have a story behind them.
